Acland Pastoral supports drought relief effort

17 June 2016

250 bales of hay cropped and baled at Acland Pastoral Company will make their way to drought affected Queensland farmers as part of the drought relief effort.

Acland Pastoral Assistant Manager Michael Laird said the company had been looking to support the relief effort for some time and had baled the wheat stubble especially for the relief effort.

"While Acland Pastoral has been fortunate enough not to have been impaired by drought, there are a lot of Queensland families really doing it tough and we’re proud to lend our support to the relief effort."

"We are very thankful Aussie Helpers and Porters Transport helped us get these bales to the farmers who need them."

"This donation is a great example of what can be achieved when businesses come together for a common cause."
